Assists clients

with the client & installers to the completion of the job.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists customers with their flooring selection and purchase.
- Draws the floor plan and measurements, calculates the exact amount
of flooring needed and generates an exact price quote for clients.
- Schedules measure appointments and installations.
- Must be computer literate.
REQUISITES
- A minimum of two years sales experience in the flooring industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpet, tile, wood, laminate and area rugs.
- Experience in working with floor plans.
- Excellent communication skills and professional conduct essential.
- Flexible, with an ability to quickly adapt to fast paced, changing
environment.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Must be a problem solver & a team player.
- Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all

RECEPTIONIST/ FRONT DESK JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Receptionist

JOB STATEMENT
Works under general supervision. Operates all areas
of front desk responsibility including the phone
system, greeting customers, using the cash register and selling a variety
of floor-care products. May be asked to complete special projects to
assist administration operations in addition to routine responsibilities
mentioned above.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers all phone calls from the 16-line phone system.
- Greets all patrons who enter the store, directs them to the appropriate
showroom area, and calls the next available salesperson to assist
the customer.
- Processes customer pick-up paperwork and accepts payments for those
products.
- Presents and sells sundry floor care products, small remnants and
area rug padding.
- Operates cash register.
- Maintains organization and stock of necessary items at the front
desk.
- Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all
times.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
REQUISITES
- Previous reception, phone or customer service experience preferred.
